Flexible Denver Wedding Reception Site
The Summit Conference and Event Center works with premier licensed catering/restaurant partners to provide guests with food and beverage packages to meet just about any budget or distinctive palette. Our menus are not a complete list of options but rather some of the most popular offerings, and can accommodate special dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. We work with our customers on all aspects of the meeting or conference including the catering, and then we coordinate with our catering/restaurant partners to make it happen!
Alternatively, The Summit Conference and Event Center gives you the option of bringing in your own catering. We are one of the very few Denver event venues that does not require licensed Denver caterers and we do not force you to use one of our approved catering companies. When you choose this option, we charge a simple room rental fee. The rate mainly depends on how many guests you expect (which tells us how much space and staff you will be needing) so ask our sales staff for a free quote.
Below are some details about these two options.
The Summit Catering Option
Here is what is included in The Summit catering option:

- Ballroom set up by Summit staff (this includes tables, chairs, tablecloths)
- Skirted Tables (for instance – Buffet Table, Cake Table, Registration Table)
- China, Flatware and Glassware, Cloth Napkins
- Risers for use by your DJ, Band or Head Table
- Bartender service for your cash or host bar
- Event Manager and Summit servers
- Mirrored Tiles and Votive Candle Centerpieces
- Ballroom clean up by Summit staff
- 3 hours set-up time, 5 hours for your event and 1 hour for wrap-up
- Additional time available for a fee
Some other items that we can include for an additional fee are:
- Table Overlays – many different colors
- Chair Covers – many different color sashes
- Full Length Tablecloths
Please note that outside alcohol is not permissible. The Summit Conference and Event Center does have a liquor license and we offer a full assortment at our bar. You can choose to have a cash bar or host bar or a combination of the two.

Our Outside Catering Option
Do you have a favorite caterer you have already worked with? Or is your uncle a skilled chef who wants to do your meal for your event? The Summit Conference and Event Center is gives you the option of bringing in your own catering. We are one of the very few Denver venues that do not require licensed Denver caterers and we do not have a list caterers you have to use.
When you do choose this option, we charge a room rental fee. The rate mainly depends on how many guests you expect and time of year (which tells us how much space and staff you will be needing). Ask our sales staff for a customized quote.

- Ballroom set up by Summit staff (this includes tables, chairs, tablecloths)
- Skirted Tables (for instance – Head Table, Cake Table, Buffet Table, Gift Table)
- Risers for use by your DJ, Band or Head Table
- Bartender service for your cash or host bar
- Event Manager
- Mirrored Tiles and Votive Candle Centerpieces
- Ballroom clean up by Summit staff
- 3 hours set-up time, 5 hours for your event and 1 hour for wrap-up
- Additional time available for a fee
- Use of The Summit kitchen to warm your food or keep cold (cooking not allowed on site)
- Available Ice

Self-catering is a great option if you already know who will be preparing your food. If you are undecided, we would be happy to give you pricing to use The Summit catering as well so that you can compare the two choices. We think we offer some of the best Denver catering around at very reasonable prices!
